The
CD-ROM version is faster and easier to use and has better images
than the online version. All in all, the London 1901 Census on CD-ROM
is an excellent genealogy resource. It contains clear images of
valuable original records used by genealogists, historians, and
social scientists. 200,000 pages have been scanned and recorded
onto CD-ROM disks.
This set is a bargain at only £1.33 per disk. Dick

Comments on London 1891
"I
just wanted to thank you for this marvellous product. I was away
when it came so have only been able to use it fairly recently, but
it has given me hours of pleasure, searching at home, and I have
found it straightforward to use. I thought you might like to know
of my particular use, which is as a disabled person, needing to
use a wheelchair outside my home. Record offices, even the London
ones which try hard to be accessible, are hard work and often literally
painful.
Apart from that, every trip to London is expensive. I am really
thrilled to be able to use the 1891 census just as if I were at
the FRC, only more comfortably!" SR
"Just
received my copies of the 1891 London Census CDs. Absolutely marvelous
! Found half a dozen ancestors already, just by 'walking the streets'.
Well done on a truly fantastic job. Worth every penny. Can't wait
for the other years." M.T
"I
have found the 1891 London census a pleasure to use with clear and
sharp images having none of the tramline markings that the well
worn fiche can have. It is a lot easier to use and doesn't have
the restraints of the time I can spare in record offices."

"Just
to let you know, I received my 1891 London Census set Saturday,
13 Oct. It is a joy to use, and even without a surname index. It
sure beats waiting & scrolling through films, allowing me to
click through the pages instead. The printouts are excellent.
Looking forward to your other Census sets." T.W.

"Just
had my first dip into the 1891 census for London. Would like to
say what a good job you have done. Its User Friendly and even I
have managed to find my way around without too much difficulty."
